Welcome Address
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of China Vascular Congress (CVC), sponsored by National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases (NCCD), Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, National Society of Vascular Surgery (NSVS), Working Group on Vascular Surgery, National Center for Cardiovascular Quality Improvement, and the Beijing Kaiqi Cardiovascular Foundation; it is my privilege to invite you to this academic event, which will be held on September 19-22, 2019 at Conrad Hotel in Tianjin, China.
As one of the largest and most educational vascular conferences in China, international guests from more than ten countries and more than 1,000 vascular surgeons from all over the country have participated in last three sessions of CVC. As we all know, vascular diseases have been the growing threaten of both public health and economical load at home and abroad. At the opening ceremonies in the last three years, NSVS has signed memorandums of understanding for academic cooperation with academic organizations from Brazil, Argentina, Poland, Dominica. These international collaborations will infuse with great vitality for the development of global healthcare for vascular diseases.
CVC serves as annual academic meeting of National Society of Vascular Surgery, which conducts academic exchange in the fields of cardiovascular surgery, peripheral vascular surgery and related subjects. It has been designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in the medical care of vascular diseases, and also to break academic barriers, strengthen cooperation and innovation. CVC 2019 includes more than 30 scientific sessions, which has covered the topics in open surgery, endovascular treatment, hybrid techniques, basic research, intensive care and nursing for both aortic and peripheral vascular diseases.
